Questions

What is quota attainment?

Quota attainment is how much of a sales target a rep or team has achieved, usually shown as a percentage — bookings divided by quota. On its own it's a snapshot; paired with how much of the period has elapsed, it tells you whether you're on pace. Being at 60% of quota is great on day 18 of 30 but alarming on day 28, which is why pace matters as much as the raw percentage.

How is projected pace calculated?

Projected pace extrapolates your current run rate across the whole period: bookings so far divided by days elapsed, times the total days in the period. If you've booked $62,000 in 18 of 30 days, your pace projects to about $103,000 by the end. Comparing that projection to the quota shows whether you're on track and how big the gap is if you're not.
